Waihirere

 

On Tuesday the school went to waihirere. We went in 3 buses it took 20 minuets from school. we went in house groups. in the buses but when we got there we got into groups of 3 my  budy's were Flora and Marley.First we went looking for koura and water boatmen.it was fun!! then we went on a fifty minute walk to a water Fall on the way Sam the trap man showed us what we could eat in the bush. I never new you could eat this leaf called kawa kawa .when we got back we cooked some kawa kawa on these potbelly stoves that we made. you can also eat this fern called hakiki. it was very yummy then we got to play on the playground that was there.
